Wind is a German schlager band formed in 1985 currently consisting of Andreas Lebbing, Iris Criens and Carolin Frölian. They have undergone several lineup changes in their three decade long career but to date have released no fewer than twenty six studio albums, both in English and German.
Returning two years later in Brussels, they again represented their home country with song "Lass die Sonne in dein Herz", which again finished as runner up with 141 points, this time to "Hold Me Now" by Johnny Logan of Ireland. This made them the only act to finish as runner up twice in the Contest, which still stands as of 2023.
They made a third and final return six years later in Malmö with the song "Träume sind für alle da", which proved less successful by finishing in 16th place with 27 points.
