No Angels is an all-female German-Bulgarian pop group formed in 2000 on the first season of the national syndication of the Popstars franchise. The line-up consisted of Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, Jessica Wahls and until 2003 Vanessa Petruo. In 2010, Nadja Benaissa also departed the group.
Together they released five studio albums and several singles and are the biggest-selling German girlband of all-time as well as most successful girlband of the 2000s in Continental Europe.
They were selected to represent their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade with the song "Disappear". Due to the country's status as a "Big Four" nation, it directly qualified for the final, where it finished in joint last place with 14 points alongside the entries from the United Kingdom and Poland. They received 12 points from Bulgaria due to member Diakovska being from the country.
They decided to call it a day in 2011 but reformed in 2020 as a quartet to mark their twentieth anniversary.
