Johnny Logan is an Australian-born Irish singer who twice represented Ireland in the Contest: in the 1980 Contest with the song "What's Another Year" and seven years later with the song "Hold Me Now", winning on both occasions, thus making him the only act to win the contest twice.

He also wrote Linda Martin's winning entry "Why Me?", which emerged victorious at the 1992 Contest. Due to his successes, he is affectionately called "Mr. Eurovision" by Contest fans.

He returned to the Eurovision world at the 2014 Contest when he appeared in the "Museum of Eurovision History" sketch as part of a display.
