Hersi is the stage name of Albanian singer-songwriter Hersjana Matmuja. She began her career as an eight year old, going on to provide the singing voice of Melody in the Albanian dub of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea at the age of 13. She also participated in several festivals and talent contests. Since 2006, she has released several singles.
In late 2013 she won the right to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with the song "One Night's Anger", which failed to qualify from the first semi-final.
