Greetje Kauffeld is a Dutch singer and musician. Throughout her career, she has released dozens of albums.
She is best known internationally for representing her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1961 in Cannes with the song "Wat een dag", finishing in joint 10th place with 6 points with the entry by Laila Kinnunen of Finland and the entry by Colette Deréal of Monaco.
Post-Contest, she has continued to be a very popular singer in her home country.
