Gerard Joling is a Dutch singer and television personality who started his career in 1985. To date, he has released eighteen studio albums, two compilation albums and several singles, both as a solo artist and as a featured artist.

He was selected to represent his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 in Dublin with the song "Shangri-La", which finished in 9th place with 70 points.

He later joined the group The Toppers alongside René Froger and Gordon Heuckeroth who were selected to represent their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow but left prior to the Contest appearance due to a disagreement with Froger and was replaced by Jeroen van der Bloom.

Aside from his music career, he has also ventured into presenting television talent shows Sterren Hansen op het ijs and So You Wanna Be a Popstar and has appeared as a judge on the national syndications of The Voice Senior and The Masked Singer.
