Franck Olivier was a Belgian singer/songwriter who started his career in the 1970s and translated several songs for other acts into French as well as releasing songs in his own right, many of which were hits in France and Canada.

He is best known internationally for representing Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg alongside multinational singers Margo, Diane Solomon, Ireen Sheer, Chris & Malcolm Roberts with the song "Children, Kinder, enfants", which finished in 13th place with 37 points.

The following year he discovered Belgian-Canadian singer Lara Fabian who would go on to become one of the country's best-selling artists of all time and represent Luxembourg in the 1988 Contest in Dublin.

He died on 8 November 2021 at the age of 72 following a lengthy battle with a brain tumour.
