Frances Ruffelle is an English musical theatre actress and singer who started her career in 1975. She is best known for her appearances on the West End stage, in movies and on television as well as contributing to many soundtracks. She has also released five studio albums and several singles.

She was selected to represent her home nation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin with the song "We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony)", which finished in 10th place with 63 points.

Post-Contest, she has continued to appear in many notable West End productions.
