Soluna Samay is a Guatemalan/Danish singer who started her career at the age of five when she accompanied her street musician father on drums. She began to learn the guitar at the age of 12 and also wrote her first song. To date, she has released three studio albums and several singles.
She was selected her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku with the song "Should've Known Better". After successfully qualifying from the first semi-final, it finished in 23rd place with 21 points, despite being a favourite to win before the Contest.
