The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest held annually, in the Telenor Arena, in Oslo, Norway. It was Norway's third hosting of the event, hosting previously in 1986, and 1996. The winner was Lena, representing Germany, singing "Satellite". It was the country's second win, and the first time a Big Four (currently Big Five) won the event since the semi-finals started. The two semi finals took place on the 25th of May and 27th of May respectively, and the final on the 29th of May.
Presenters
NRK revealed the hosts on the 10th of March. They were in alphabetical order of surname, Nadia Hasnaoui, Haddy Jatou N'jie and Erik Solbakken.
Interval Act
The interval act was a number of public outdoor events live from Europe, which were planned promotionally, but done in the style of a flashmob.
