The Eurovision Song Contest 1987 was the 32nd edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It was held on 9 May 1987 in Brussels, Belgium following Sandra Kim giving the country its first-ever win the previous year with the song "J'aime la vie".
No country made its debut while Greece and Italy returned. No country withdrew from competing.
The Contest was won for the third time by Ireland with the song "Hold Me Now" by Johnny Logan, who had also won for the country seven years earlier in The Hague and until 2023 would remain the only person to win the Contest twice as a performer until Loreen gave her home country its record-equaling seventh win in Liverpool.
