Armenia has participated in the Contest 14 times, debuting in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens.
To date, they have achieved two 4th place results in the final and have missed out on qualifying three times - in 2011 with Emmy performing "Boom Boom", in 2018 with Sevak Khanagyan performing "Qami" and in 2019 with Srbuk performing "Walking Out".
In 2012, they withdrew due to security concerns and following their return they have finished in the Top 10 twice.
The country made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Rotterdam, where entrant Arevik finished as runner-up to Alexey Zhigalkovich of Belarus. It has competed a further 14 times finishing as runner-up four times, in third place twice and won the 2010 Contest in Minsk as well as the 2021 Contest in Paris.
