Anouk Teeuwe (born 8 April 1975), commonly known as Anouk is a Dutch singer-songwriter who began her career in 1997 with the release of her single "Nobody's Wife", which became a huge hit on the Dutch charts. She remains one of the biggest-selling artists in her homeland, with nine studio albums, eight of which have topped the charts.
She represented The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Birds". She performed in the first semi-final and finished in 6th place, becoming the first Dutch act to qualify for the final in nine years. In the final she finished in 9th place with 114 points - the country's best finish since 1999.
