Željko Joksimović is a Serbian singer and television personality who began his music career in 1997. To date he has released seven studio albums and several singles.

He represented Serbia and Montenegro on its debut at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul with the song "Lane moje", which finished as runner up to "Wild Dances" by Ruslana of Ukraine with a margin of 17 points.

Following Serbia's win at the 2007 Contest in Helsinki with the song "Molitva" performed by Marija Šerifović, he co-hosted the 2008 Contest in Belgrade.

Returning to the stage for the 2012 Contest in Baku, he represented his home country with the song "Nije ljubav stvar", which finished in 3rd place with 214 points.

He also wrote the Bosnian entry "Lejla" by Hari Mata Hari, host country entry "Oro" by Jelena Tomašević feat. Bora Dugić and the Montenegrin entry "Adio" by Knez.
